Gerrard urges Rangers to put on Ibrox show
Steven Gerrard wants his Rangers side to put on a show for the supporters during the Europa League clash with St Joseph's on Thursday.
The Gers will head into the second leg of their first qualifying round tie already holding a 4-0 advantage from last week's reverse match in Gibraltar.
That result came either side of impressive wins over Oxford and Marseille in pre-season, with Gerrard hopeful his side can produce another convincing display.
"It's a game we want to try and keep a clean sheet in, want to try and entertain the fans and get a good, strong, positive win and keep this momentum going because we have started pre-season really strong," the former Liverpool star said.
Gerrard has also confirmed he plans to rotate his starting line-up from last week's first leg, but he does not feel it will weaken his side as he has competition for places all over the pitch.
He added: "We will have a strong team out, I think the squad is in a position now where changes won't make us any weaker because we are close to being like for like in the majority of the positions."
