Martin on Rangers' radar

13th January 2018, 15:01 by Nick Harris

Rangers are said to be close to bringing Scotland international Russell Martin to the club as he looks for a move from Norwich.

The 31-year-old defender, who has 29 international caps for Scotland, is said to be keen on a move north after his first-team appearances have dried up at Norwich, whom he led to the play-offs and promotion back in 2015.

The defender is finding regular football hard to come by at Carrow Road and is said to be seeking a loan move away with his preference being a switch to Scotland and the Gers are ready to make a move to try and land him.
