Rangers told to cough up for Hastie
Motherwell have demanded Rangers pay £350,000 in compensation for Jake Hastie ahead of them landing the free agent this week.
The 20-year-old is understood to have agreed terms on a three-year contract with the Gers with the option of a further 12 months ahead of his deal at Fir Park expiring at the end of the season.
Rangers are hopeful of avoiding a tribunal for the Motherwell academy graduate but the Steelmen are digging their heels in and want the Ibrox outfit to stump up £350,000 compensation for the Scotland Under-21 international.
Motherwell are loathed to lose Hastie to the Light Blues having seen him flourish since being given his chance in the first team this season, netting seven goals in 14 appearances so far.
