Calhanoglu loving life in Milan
Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has revealed he wants to stay at Milan for a long time as he tries to repay manager Gennaro Gattuso.
The 25-year-old joined the club in 2017 and has since made 56 appearances for the Italian giants.
The Turkey international is hoping to be part of the squad that brings back the glory days for Milan fans.
Gattuso's men are third in the league table, pushing for a Champions League spot, and Calhanoglu is hoping for a long-term stay at the San Siro.
He told reporters: "Gattuso acts the same with all the players, not just me. He was a player himself and he knows what the lads need.
"He transmits so much positive energy and lets us play at a high level. He helped me in my private life too. Becoming a father was very exciting.
"I know some clubs wanted me in January, but I’m happy here. I hope to stay at Milan for a long time, but it’s up to the club."
