Napoli trio set for three weeks out
Napoli trio Lorenzo Insigne, Vlad Chiriches and Amadou Diawara are all expected to be out for the next three weeks due to injury.
The Serie A side have announced the news on their official website, with Insigne and Chiriches suffering thigh injuries, while Diawara has been ruled out with a foot problem.
Chiriches started Thursday's 3-1 Europa League defeat to RB Salzburg but was forced off late on, club captain Insigne was an unused substitute, while midfielder Diawara came on for the final 15 minutes.
Napoli say Insigne and Chiriches need "approximately three weeks of recovery time" while Diawara "will be checked again in three weeks".
It seems highly likely all three will miss the Partenopei’s next four Serie A games as a result, against Udinese, Roma, Empoli and Genoa, while they will all also be major doubts for the Europa League quarter-final against Arsenal, after Napoli were paired with the Gunners in Friday's draw.
Napoli face Unai Emery's side in the first leg of their quarter-final on April 11 after edging past Salzburg 4-3 on aggregate in the last 16.
