Kyrgios lays into French Open
Australian Nick Kyrgios has spoken of his dislike of the clay-court season after meeting Andy Murray at Wimbledon.
Kyrgios has blotted his copybook several times on court and hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons once again last week.
The Aussie ace was disqualified from the Italian Open for throwing a stool during his match with Casper Ruud and may well be in line for more sanctions.
Most players have now headed to Roland Garros to prepare for the French Open but Kyrgios stopped off in London to visit the All England Club, with Court One's new roof being officially unveiled.
He posted a video on Instagram and did not hold back in his views on the upcoming Paris showpiece.
"I'm hitting with Andy Murray today," he said. "I think this is the best tournament in the world, look at this perfect green surface.
"Get rid of the clay, man. Who likes the clay it is so bad.
"The fact that I am here right now and I have to go to Paris in a couple of days. The French Open sucks compared to this place. Sucks. Absolute sucks."
