Nadal vows to bounce back
Rafael Nadal lost to Nick Kyrgios in the second round of the Mexican Open in Acapulco and has vowed to bounce straight back.
The Spaniard was back in action for the first time since his loss in the Australian Open but crashed out in the last-16 stage as he fell to a 3-6 7-6(2) 7-6(6) defeat.
Nadal has only himself to blame as he had three match points and will now have a 10-day gap before the start of Indian Wells, where he has vowed to come back stronger.
"Now comes Indian Wells, which is a tournament that I like, too,” Nadal said. “I have days to recover the level, these days have been a bit complicated for me.
“I have a week and a half to train well and I hope that it will be enough.”
