Tour Finals target for Bautista Agut
Roberto Bautista Agut has set his sights on a place at the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals in London.
Bautista Agut is enjoying his most successful season to date after the Spaniard reached a first Grand Slam quarter-final, at the Australian Open earlier this year, and then went one better at Wimbledon, where he lost to eventual champion Novak Djokovic in the last four.
The 31-year-old is a career-high 13th in the ATP rankings and Bautista Agut hopes he can force his way into the top eight and secure a place in the Tour Finals.
"It would be good news for me to have the opportunity to play the [year-end] Masters," Bautista Agut told the official ATP website. "But now, it's still far. It's still three months or four months of the season and I have to win a lot of matches and to play very good tennis if I want to be there."
