Tsitsipas seals final spot in Dubai
Stefano Tsitsipas proved too strong for Dan Evans to seal his spot in the final at the Dubai Tennis Championships.
The second seed earned a straight sets 6-2 6-3 victory and will take on world number one Novak Djokovic in Saturday's showpiece.
Tsitsipas, who lost to Roger Federer in last year's final, looked extremely comfortable as he wrapped up the match against the British number one in just 81 minutes.
"I just managed to stay solid throughout the whole match," said Tsitsipas.
"I didn't have massive breakdowns and just played a quality of tennis which I enjoyed. I am really impressed by the quality of my game today and I really hope to bring the same and possibly even better in the next round."
Djokovic was made to work hard for his spot in the final, beating Gael Monfils 2-6 7-6 6-1, and admitted he needed a bit of fortune to get over the line.
"It was truly an escape. He was clearly the best player for two sets and I was fortunate to work my way back into the set.
"Today is one of those matches where I had to hold my nerves in important moments and wait for another chance to appear and when it does try to use it."
