German GP excites Verstappen
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen says he is hoping to continue his good form at the German Grand Prix this weekend.
The Dutchman and the Red Bull car were initially behind Ferrari at the beginning of the season but have since begun to look faster than the Scuderia.
Verstappen won his first race of the season at the Austrian Grand Prix last month and was unfortunately shunted by Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel at the British Grand Prix, which the German subsequently apologised for.
He is third in the Championship only behind the runaway Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and Valterri Bottas.
However, he is looking forward to racing at the Hockenheim circuit and says the improvements shown by the car are contributing to his excitement.
"The stadium section is very cool, as you enter into a fast corner and then a banked corner with only a small area of run-off," he said.
"There is quite a bit of time to be gained through the last few corners if you get the right flow onto the straight.
"I think it's going to be a warm weekend again which is always more challenging and more fun.
"We're on a good run with the car and improving every weekend, so I can't wait to get started again."
