Judicial to return in April
Connections have revealed Judicial will return at Lingfield on Good Friday following his win at the Surrey venue this month.
The seven-year-old competed in six races during the 2019 flat campaign, despite being hampered by wind surgery in June.
Judicial responded from the procedure by winning at Newmarket and Beverley, but he failed to shine in the Dubai International Airport World Trophy Stakes at Newbury in September.
However, he qualified for next year's All-Weather Championships at Lingfield after winning the Listed Golden Rose Stakes on November 16.
Steve Brown, assistant to his wife, trainer Julie Camacho, has now confirmed the plan is to give him a break before he gets ready for the meeting in April.
He told reporters: "It was visually very impressive. It couldn't have worked out any better for us. We were a little pessimistic with the draw, but he managed to overcome that - and it was a good performance from him.
"It seemed to suit. We didn't have too many options. I think we'll go straight there. We've always got the option of going away for a gallop and stretch his legs on the synthetics, so that's a possibility.
"He's not a horse you have to work hard with to get fit. He's a pretty straightforward horse these days. We just might give him a breeze two of three weeks before to blow the cobwebs away.
"He's been fantastic for us, and we love him dearly."
