Stott relishing Newmarket outing
Jockey Kevin Stott is relishing Saturday's outing in the Group One Darley July Cup at Newmarket with Hello Youmzain.
Stott earned his first top level victory when steering Hello Youmzain to glory in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot last month.
The North Yorkshire jockey is hoping for a repeat performance on Saturday as the curtain comes down on Newmarket's three-day July Festival.
Stott said: "Hello Youmzain has come out of the race brilliantly, his preparation for the July Cup has been very good. He's been fresh and well so I'm very happy with him.
"He's a very big horse, he was a late two-year-old. He's extremely balanced and very fast out of the stalls. If I could describe him in one word it would be that he's athletic. He's an absolute pleasure to ride."
Clive Cox's Golden Horde is the favourite for Saturday's Newmarket showpiece while Sceptical, who will have Frankie Dettori on board, is also likely to be a challenger.
