Tuchel disappointed by Neymar's behaviour

30th April 2019, 19:02 by Tom Hill

Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has hit out at Neymar for his altercation with a supporter following the defeat to Rennes.

The Brazil international started the Coupe de France final and helped his team race into a 2-0 lead on Saturday.

Neymar grabbed a goal and an assist before PSG let their advantage slip and the match went to extra-time.

Rennes eventually won 6-5 on penalties and Neymar was quick to blame the team's younger players for the defeat.

He was also seen on video striking a fan as he went to collect his runner-up medal and Tuchel has urged him to improve his behaviour.

"You can't get into a fight with a spectator. You just can't do that," said Tuchel.

"It's not easy to go up the steps after a defeat. It's very difficult for me, for everybody – but we have to accept it. If we lose, we have to show respect."
