James tipped for Blues deal
Chelsea are believed to be ready to offer Reece James fresh terms at Stamford Bridge after he impressed at Wigan this term.
The youngster helped the Latics avoid the drop from the Championship this term and shone in the latter stages of the campaign as the Lancashire outfit picked up big wins to stay up.
With Chelsea in the midst of a transfer embargo, the Blues are eager to tie down young talent they think can have an impact on the first-team to new contracts.
James fits the bill and reports have suggested the defender will be offered a new long-term deal at The Bridge, as the 19-year-old is seen as natural successor to Blues veteran Cesar Azpilicueta.
